Sub: Charging of MMC on AP metered consumers.

In compliance to the PSERC order dated 30.11.2004 instructions were issued vide CC No. 57/2004 dated 9.12.2004 indicating vide Sr. No. A) 4 for irrigation tubewells that MMC is not applicable.

In this connection it is further clarified that MMC is not to be charged from AP metered consumers, as there is no such provision in the tariff circular referred to above. In case if some consumer(s) have been charged MMC due to misunderstanding of instructions the same may be refunded by way of adjustment in their next bills.
